The homes of the Country Club District

Some of Kansas City's most beautiful homes line the tree-lined streets south of the Country Club Plaza, in neighborhoods like Brookside, Sunset Hill, and Crestwood, and along Ward Parkway. Built largely in the early decades of the last century, they hold architecture you cannot find in new construction, Tudors, Craftsman bungalows, Colonial Revivals, and Georgians on established lots.

Homes like these reward thoughtful renovation. We help owners bring them up to the way they want to live, kitchens, primary suites, systems, and added space, while protecting the architecture and character that make them worth owning.

How we work in Kansas City

This is renovation and restoration territory, and our Signature Renovation Experience™ is built for it, modernizing how a classic home lives without flattening what makes it special. Where a rare lot allows, the Signature Build Experience™ brings the same craft to new construction that fits its surroundings.

Questions about remodeling in Kansas City

Do you work throughout the Kansas City metro?

Yes. We build and renovate across the greater Kansas City area on both the Missouri and Kansas sides, and we are licensed in the communities where we work, including Kansas City itself. Wherever your project is in the metro, we would be glad to talk.

Can you renovate an older Kansas City home and bring it up to date?

Yes. Kansas City has some of the metro's most character-rich older neighborhoods, and our Signature Renovation Experience™ is built to update a home for how families live now while respecting what makes it worth keeping. We build and renovate newer homes across the area to the same standard.

Do you build new custom homes and renovate existing ones in Kansas City?

Yes, both. We build ground-up custom homes through our Signature Build Experience™, and we handle renovations, additions, and whole-home projects through our Signature Renovation Experience™. The same team and the same standard of craftsmanship carry across both, whether you are starting from a bare lot or reimagining a home you already own in Kansas City.

What does your process look like?

It depends on whether you are building or renovating, but both follow a guided path. A build moves from vision discovery and lifestyle planning, through design and transparent budgeting, into hands-on project management and craftsmanship oversight, with proactive communication and a final walkthrough plus continued support. A renovation begins with discovery of your needs and goals, then space planning and designer-curated selections, clear scope and timeline, clean and respectful jobsite standards, steady communication, and a completion backed by warranty support.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Resurrection Homes is properly licensed and insured in the communities where we build, and we handle the permitting and local licensing requirements for your project so you do not have to. Across more than 17 years of building and renovating throughout the Kansas City metro, navigating the requirements of each city and county is simply part of how we work.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. Every Resurrection Homes project includes warranty support as part of our process, so your relationship with us does not end at the final walkthrough. We stand behind our craftsmanship and stay available after the work is done.
